The Marketing Manager is responsible for direct management of the marketing team and managing the marketing strategy across the trade show and events division as assigned by the Executive Director of Marketing. 

Responsibilities

  • Execute the marketing plan, including development, planning, creation, and support of all local and national marketing initiatives and oversee distribution and management of all collateral.
  • Ensure all communications are on brand and in alignment with overall corporate marketing strategy and develop sales and marketing materials and content for use by field sales teams; including newsletters, blogs, e-blasts, product presentations and other related projects. 
  • Manage social media channels, create content and provide analytics. 
  • Manage all national and regional trade shows and coordinate all public relations and other content with outside agencies and the media buying company. 
  • Provide analysis of all strategies and campaigns, and report to internal and external participants
  • Recommend campaign improvements and/or adjustments to drive higher performance and more efficient resource allocation along with best practices. 
  • Manage and communicate the monthly marketing budget and the forecast to the EDOM.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.S. or B.A.), preferably in Marketing, Business, Communication or Journalism;
    or 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience managing social media channels
  • Knowledge and extensive experience with print production and graphic design
  • Ability to travel domestically 20+%
  • Proven success in strategic and tactical development of marketing campaigns
  • Digital and traditional marketing experience required
  • Email service provider or digital marketing software experience preferred
  • Experience with CRM tools and CMS
  • Strong writing skills preferred
