    The Project Manager will be responsible for providing direct oversight of projects, procurements, and daily operations and will serve as primary point of contact and communication with internal and external customers. The Project Manager will manage and coordinate activities involving jobs of varying scopes to ensure successful completion. The Project Manager will work closely with internal delivery teams and will review, monitor and coordinate all activities within the assigned team to ensure accuracy of order, installation, and problem resolution in order to achieve final client acceptance and sign-off.


    • Responsible for planning and overseeing the delivery and installation of large projects in residential and commercial furnishings

    • Coordinates resources (Union/non-union installations team, inventory, equipment needs)

    • Obtains information regarding security clearances, building access, service entrance, etc. prior to project start date and ensures all information is communicated to respective parties

    • Conducts post-project meetings with clients / sales / operations teams

    • Assists in selection, training, evaluation and supervision of company delivery teams

    • Sources and monitors third-party vendors as needed

    • Variable schedule requires the ability to work evenings & weekends in the Tri-State area, with up to 60% field travel.

    • Performs additional responsibilities as requested/assigned to achieve business objectives by direct Manager.


    • Requires a minimum 3 years of related experience; ability to read floor plans and blue prints

    • Demonstrated ability to manage a crew of delivery staff and installers.

    • Must have experience in the Distribution/Transportation space.

    • Must be able to work evenings & weekends in the Tri State area (NY, NJ, and CT).

    • Experience working with major panel brands such as Herman Miller A02 and Steelcase Avenir.

    • Responsible for leading the coordination of union labor, where necessary.

    • Excellent communication skills, reasoning skills, and computer proficiency skills.

    • Ability to self-direct and work independently.

    • Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.

    • Must have local state driver’s license, safe driving record, and reliable transportation.

    • Ability to speak read and write English fluently.

    • Required regularly to stand, walk, and talk or hear. Frequently required to use hands to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequently required to walk and climb or balance. Occasionally required to sit, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

    • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to collaborate and negotiate.

    • The ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment at all levels of the organization and the ability to build long-term relationships with customers and partners, particularly at senior decision-making levels within an organization.
