CORT is looking for an experienced apartment industry professional to develop partnerships with property management firms in the multifamily space. This individual must be proficient in following up leads, developing a multifamily network and calling on prospective senior level clients.

 

This individual will own and manage a portfolio of national clients for CORT. They will be responsible for all aspects of the relationship between the property management firm and CORT including but not limited to signing the initial client agreement, account renewal and overall business development. 

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with national property management firms. Clients are typically senior vice president level and above.
  • Customize CORT national agreements to meet property management firm’s needs.
  • Coordinate and lead apartment industry events including tradeshows, client functions etc.
  • Offer training and support to CORT regional sales teams.
  • Coordinate the efforts of local CORT teams to insure the overall, national client strategy is executed at the local and regional levels.
  • Work closely with other CORT national account divisions including destination services, military and student divisions etc.
  • This position requires employee to travel on a frequent basis. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required (minimum).
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in related fields in the multifamily industry.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written or required.
  • The ability to develop long lasting relationships with key clients.
  • Experience either onsite in property management or in selling to the industry is a plus. 
  • Knowledge of property management software tools and technology is also a plus.
