  • Overview

     

    Coordinates and supervises activities of Operations employees and temporary labor in relation to repair, cleaning, product staging, or truck loading of short-term rental furniture.

    Responsibilities

    • Assigns duties and schedules day-to-day team activities.

    • Trains new and temporary employees on proper procedure for furniture handling, repair, cleaning, packing, and storing.

    • Assures that product is properly scanned into their proper location in the electronic inventory management system.

    • Keeps track of damaged product

    • Inspects product to determine if it meets standards and is ready for delivery to customers.

    • Keeps track of billing invoices and receipts.

    • Schedules work for special and periodic inventories.

    • Standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of the Operations Team.

    Qualifications

    • Associates Degree with 2 + years related industry experience or at least 5 years related industry experience without a degree.

    • Ability to speak, read and write English fluently.

    • Excellent communication skills, reasoning skills, and computer proficiency skills.

    • Management experience with demonstrated ability to develop employees and maintain effectiveness with peers.

    • Ability to self-direct and work independently.

    • Ability to make minor repairs to furniture and to match colors.

    • Must be at least 21 years of age (if driving is required for the position), have a local state driver’s license and safe driving record.
