  • Overview

    As the Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator you are responsible for providing technical and functional support for CORT’s learning management system. 


    You are responsible for data governance, system administration and reporting of the LMS.  This includes content management, consistency in data input, maintaining platforms, security, learning records, historical training data, eLearning deployment and the creation and management of reporting.



    LMS Operations:

    • Act as the primary technology interface and manage day-to-day operations to ensure full functionality of the LMS environment for all users.
    • Identifies and solves problems that are causing issues on the LMS system or inhibiting users to access the system or training.
    • Perform routine systems maintenance and configuration administration.
    • Assist in the design, review, testing and implementation of LMS updates and enhancements.
    • Ensure system availability, research and resolve issues related to the LMS that are reported by the end user.
    • Provide end-user technical support to ensure adoption and LMS utilization with all users.
    • Ensures clients are informed of the status of their support request, including implementation, updates, changes, and completion.
    • Create and deliver training to additional system admins and users as necessary, including orientation and training for new hires.
    • Supports all scheduling and logistics for training events and works with the L&D facilitators to ensure a successful learning experience for employees.
    • Coordinate L&D programs, including Onboarding, business skills, leadership skills and technical skills.
    • Provide recommendations for system improvements that would enhance the learning experience.
    • Create and maintain automated custom emails for automated notifications.
    • Seeks opportunities to increase internal/external customer satisfaction.


    LMS Governance:

    • Maintain LMS test environments.
    • Manage all LMS user accounts and profiles, including data migration from HRIS and SSO sources.
    • Sets and maintains security roles and access levels

    • Manage permissions, systems preferences, licenses and software updates.
    • Document user procedures, guidelines, processes and policies as needed to establish consistent use of the system.
    • Upload and test eLearning SCORM and AICC compliant modules.
    • Assign activities, courses and curriculums to LMS learners through defined audience rules.
    • Monitor the accuracy and integrity of data entered and maintained within the LMS and resolve data inconsistencies.
    • Support the maintenance of categorization and visibility of all content in the LMS.
    • Ensure accuracy in training completion records.
    • Set up, organize and maintain curricula and/or certification paths.
    • Manage content within the LMS and ensure all material is current and up to date.


    LMS Reporting:

    • Work with business partners to design reporting specifications and create necessary report(s) to drive learning analytics.
    • Develop and maintain reports in CORT’s Business Intelligence tool to push data to the LMS.
    • Develop and maintain reports in CORT’s HRIS reporting engine to push data to the LMS.
    • Run standard reports at an enterprise level (top-down) as well as custom reports as needed.


    • ·         Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
    • ·         Minimum of four (4) years experience performing systems configuration, database management or an equivalent combination of education and experience which would provide required knowledge, skills and abilities may be qualifying.
    • ·         Experience with online learning management systems and e-learning course authoring software is preferred.
    • ·         Experience with staff training programs, process improvement, project management and working in a retail organization is preferred.
    • ·         Experience with SQL report writing.
