    CORT, a Berkshire Hathaway Company, rents commercial office furnishings to a wide variety of businesses across many industries in the U.S. 

     

    We are adding a Workplace Inventory Sales Executive to sell used, discontinued and overstock office furniture to prospective clients through a variety of sales marketing channels.  This is a multi-faceted inside sales position and necessary for our business due to the growth we have experienced in office furniture rental The right candidate will enjoy sales, be a creative marketer and will bring energy and drive.  

    Responsibilities

     

    • Identifies prospective clients for the designated inventory based on likelihood of closed sales. 
    • Establish working knowledge of the designated inventory; includes features and benefits. 
    • Initiatives a multi-pronged marketing strategy to promote the sale of the designated inventory by working with the Lead and Account Development and Marketing Teams.    
    • Works a multi-media approach in email, phone calls, mailers, social media, digital networking etc. to gain client attention to the opportunity to buy previously rented furniture.    
    • Gains working knowledge of company retail process and how to transact with clients. 
    • Sells designated inventory to prospective clients at assigned sales goals and margin for profitability.   
    • Provides accurate and timely quotes to clients, working with the Workplace Project Coordinators for complete sales presentations as needed.  
    • Secures payment from clients or obtains credit authorization as required. 
    • Works with the Operations Teams to coordinate client delivery logistics.    
    • Enters all sales activities into the company Salesforce CRM in a timely manner.  Salesforce Dashboard will be maintained reflecting sales opportunities in the funnel. 
    • Complete a monthly action plan, which describes planned sales activities to achieve goal. 
    • Have a working knowledge of competitive pricing in order to price designated inventory appropriately.   
    • Responsible for complete and timely resolution of customer problems.

    Qualifications

    • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • minimum of 5 years selling B2B
    • prior office furniture sales history
    • experience working within a Sales CRM
